Hello! I wanted to talk about future updates to this website and current projects I have going on. Since posting individual updates to social media is a giant hassle, I’ll be posting them here!

I’ve been re-uploading my comic strip, Candlebot Comics, for a little over a year now. The comics hadn’t been posted regularly since I first drew them 7-10 years ago, and I haven’t had a period of time where I was consistently creating and posting my artwork since then. As an artist on the world wide web where we’re all subject to the fickle will of the algorithm gods, sharing you art regularly and frequently is the most reliable way to ensure people actually see what you make. It’s a frustrating model that pressures smaller artists to pump out as much artwork as possible if they wish to remain seen. Seeing this, I decided reposting my comics was a great way to regularly share my work when in reality, I only make comics and new artwork every few months. With the entirety of Candlebot Comics now posted, I have nothing left to share. Except maybe...

Currently my goal is to print a collection of Candlebot Comics, unfortunately this has been delayed due to my printer being a giant piece of shit. At this point it’s been a very frustrating process, but I'm trying to be hopeful that it'll happen, eventually! This is one of the test prints I made before the issues started.

Other than that, I have plenty of projects half started but incomplete. My goal is to make more long-form comics and zines, with a few comic strips here and there since they’re just fun to do. I’ve taken an indefinite break from designing products for my online shop. That being said, you can still purchase existing products here (please consider doing so, I’d like to get rid of some of this stuff). I hope that if you enjoy my work, you’ll consider sticking around for however long it takes for me to share it. In the meantime I may use this blog to talk about comics and other things that I find inspiring or just cool as fuck. We’ll see!
