Panel one: A couple is breaking up. Person A is casually explaining to Person B, "Hey, I'm sorry things didn't work out between us." Person B looks very sad.

Panel two: Person A continues, "Since we're never seeing each other again, I want you to have this." They give Person B a rubber duck. Person B asks, "Uh, what is it?"

Panel three: Person A continues nonchalantly, "It's absolutely nothing of value. You'll probably lose it and forget you ever had it..."

Panel four: Person A keeps talking, "But then, when you least expect it you'll find it and be overwhelmed with negative feelings!"

Panel five: Person A leaves off-screen with a, "Ok bye!" while Person B stares at the rubber duck in their hands.

Panel six: A beat passes and Person B is still holding the rubber duck, looking annoyed.
